Children’s Books

We’re excited to announce the release of our first children’s book We All Have Sacred Spaces. This book offers a virtual world tour as kids explore Indigenous site, Hindu mandirs, Buddhist temples, Christian churches, Jewish synagogues, Islamic mosques, and Sikh gurdwaras – all in a single volume!

Real-world photos offer glimpses into both awe-inspiring and everday spaces were people gather to pray, sing, eat, learn, worship, and celebrate. Thought boxes offer opportunities for kids to think further about the places being featured and how they relate to their own lives.

Here’s what folks are saying about it.

Jesse Figuera, Children’s Librarian

We All Have Sacred Spaces is a remarkable achievement – a beautifully-documented resource surveying seven major religious traditions for children! Full of engaging queries, magnificent images, and important information (with pronunciation clues), this book will also captivate the adult reader. A must-have for anyone interested in interfaith education for children.”
Paul Chaffee, founder The Interfaith Observer

“I love the idea of approaching the religions of our world through place and architecture. Sacred Spaces creates a fresh approach for children and adults alike to learn about cultural diversity.”
Susan Katz Miller, author The Interfaith Family Journal

And stay tuned for our next book Embracing Peace: Stories from the World’s Faith Traditions!
