Multifaith Monday 2/2/2015

Yesterday, we celebrated the pagan holiday, Imbolc, which falls halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It marks the first day of spring on the pagan wheel of the year and honors the goddess Brigid who was later syncretized to Saint Brigid by Christians. The first week of February is also designated as Interfaith Harmony Week, established by the U.N. in 2010. Now on to my news round-up for today.
