Multifaith Monday 4/27/2015

by Vicki Garlock on April 27, 2015

This week, our Baha’i friends continue their 12-day celebration of Ridvan. The 1st, 9th, and 12th days are particularly important, and many Baha’i honor those days with poetry, songs, and a respite from work/school. I am hoping to participate in our local Day 9 celebration later this week. This weekend also marks the Neo-pagan cross-quarter holiday of Beltane (in the northern hemisphere) and Samhain (in the southern hemisphere). Some Beltane rituals can still be found today in our May Day practices. And now the news from the last few days.
